MAT Filtration Technologies in Izmir, Turkey, seeks a Planning Engineer to support production, material, and project planning with strong analytical thinking and collaboration.

You will develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule, perform material requirements planning, and use Netsis ERP and E-Flow to optimize production and supply chain. The role requires 3+ years in project-based manufacturing and a related engineering degree.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning, material planning, or project planning in project-based manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Netsis ERP.
• Experience using E-Flow or similar workflow management systems.
• Knowledge of BOM, routing, work orders, and MRP processes.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and presentation abilities.
• Results-oriented with problem-solving skills.
• Experience in process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong communication and cross-functional coordination.
• Self-motivated, organized, structured approach.
• Completed military service for male candidates.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) in line with customer orders, sales forecasts, and operational objectives.
• Perform material requirements planning, create purchase requisitions and warehouse reservations, and ensure follow-up of related processes.
• Utilize Netsis ERP and workflow management systems (E-Flow) to support the continuity and efficiency of production and supply chain operations.
• Monitor production and subcontracting work orders for assigned projects.
• Monitor the procurement process of critical and long lead-time materials and proactively manage potential delivery risks.
• Conduct short-, medium-, and long-term capacity planning, perform bottleneck analyses, and support the implementation of corrective actions.
• Manage inventory control and inventory optimization activities to maintain target stock levels.
• Coordinate planning activities across Project Management, Engineering, Production, Procurement, Quality, and Logistics departments to improve overall planning effectiveness.
• Track production, inventory, procurement, and project performance indicators (KPIs), and prepare analyses, reports, and presentations to support decision-making processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing process, procedure, and operational efficiency.
• Execute and report activities in line with monthly and annual departmental objectives.
• Conduct root cause analyses of operational issues and develop sustainable solutions.

MAT Filtration Technologies was established to provide the highest possible efficiency equipment and services on water filtration technology. Specifically MAT was established in 2012 in Izmir, Turkey and was founded by fish husbandry industry experts. Our expertise in animal husbandry for over 35 years is our biggest competitive advantage. Furthermore we understand animal behavior and we know in depth the operational needs to run a facility properly. Our company develops and tests the equipment performance and ensures its ease of operation on our marine fish quarantine facility in Izmir. In addition, we have designed our organization to deliver successfully and on-time demanding projects in any part of the world. Finally MAT has developed to become a design, manufacturing and contracting leader in the field of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) and specialty filtration technologies. We are seeking a Planning Engineer with strong analytical thinking skills, a results-driven mindset, and a collaborative approach to support production, material, and project planning activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) in line with customer orders, sales forecasts, and operational objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning, material planning, or project planning, preferably within a project-based manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Netsis ERP.
• Experience using E-Flow or similar workflow management systems.
• Knowledge of BOM (Bill of Materials), routing, work orders, and MRP processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Solid understanding of production planning, capacity planning, inventory management, and project management processes.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and presentation skills.
• Results-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
• Experience in process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, well-organized, and capable of working in a structured and systematic manner.
