City of Maple Valley is seeking a part-time Sports Official II to serve as on-site coordinator for Parks & Recreation sports programs. You will enforce rules, manage game operations, and deliver excellent customer service to participants.
The role requires 16+ years old with officiating experience preferred, and First Aid/CPR certification (or ability to obtain). Seasonal leagues and overtime eligibility apply under FLSA non-exempt status.
POSITION TITLE: Sports Official II (part time)
DEPARTMENT: Parks & Recreation
REPORTS TO: Recreation Coordinator
EXEMPT STATUS: FLSA Non-Exempt position; eligible for overtime compensation
SALARY RANGE: $24.80 - $31.38 per hour DOE
Under the direction of the Recreation Coordinator, the Sports Official's primary responsibility of being the on-site coordinator and Sports Official for the Parks and Recreation Department Sports program assigned.
