About the Position

The Kraft Heinz Company is looking for a Procurement Packaging Manager who will have the responsibility for sourcing of Packaging category for in Turkey. This role is key to ensure smooth integration of local procurement in East procurement organization and to continue supporting business with procurement activities for the Category (Direct) and supporting other buying activities across the category. This role reports to Head of Procurement in Turkey. The key stakeholders are to be identified, mostly local procurement leader, Plant Director, Supply Chain Director East, Head of S&OP and Logistics.

In brief, you will be responsible for

  • Support project leader in project management;
  • collect & provide analysis of documents/data (contracts, policies, simple translation, spend analysis etc
  • build strong relationship with stakeholders
  • identify, mitigate, and escalate risks
  • ensure proper knowledge transfer from external procurement team o support smooth handover of procurement activities from external procurement team
  • actively contribute to creating a procurement process that is fully aligned with all KHC policies.
  • support and organize relevant KHC trainings for the procurement team

Execute Sourcing strategies provided by the Global Procurement (tenders, benchmarks etc)

• Identify and drive savings projects in collaboration with stakeholders and peers

• Execute negotiation with suppliers to protect KHC targets, costs, values

• Execute contracting in line with KH procurement processes

• Strong communication skills (oral & written), including strong negotiation and influencing skills the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels, both internally and externally

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and followthrough within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands.

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of best practices in procurement producers globally, project administration and follow-up and contract management

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree from a reputable university

  • 5+ years experience in Procurement food industry is a plus.
