Job description

At Velo Games, we are looking for a proactive, organized, and hands-on Operations Manager to support the development, launch, and ongoing operations of our new mobile games.

You will work closely with our development, game design, art, QA, and marketing teams to turn priorities into actionable plans, keep projects on track, and ensure clear communication across teams. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, anticipates challenges, and follows through - not just someone who tracks tasks.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate cross-functional teams. Align teams around shared goals, clarify responsibilities, and ensure effective communication between technical, creative, and business functions.
• Manage planning and delivery. Maintain project timelines, milestones, and release calendars. Track dependencies, identify risks, and help resolve blockers before they affect delivery.
• Support launches and live operations. Coordinate launch preparations, content updates, in-game events, and post-launch follow-up with the relevant teams.
• Turn insights into action. Work with teams to review player feedback and key performance metrics, translate findings into actionable priorities, and follow up on execution.
• Improve processes and reporting. Build practical workflows, maintain clear documentation, and provide leadership with regular updates on progress, risks, resource needs, and decisions.

What We're Looking For

• Strong proficiency in written and spoken English is required. You must be comfortable participating in meetings, handling professional correspondence, and communicating effectively with international partners in English.
• Proven experience in operations, project management, production, or a similar coordination-focused role.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and changing priorities without losing sight of deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to bring different teams together, clarify expectations, and take initiative.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira or Monday, along with a structured approach to documentation, reporting, and follow-up.

What Would Make You Stand Out

Previous experience in the mobile gaming industry is a strong advantage.

Familiarity with free-to-play business models, casual or puzzle games, game analytics, and in-game event planning would also be highly valuable.

You will play a direct role in shaping how our new games are brought to market and operated after launch. Working closely with the teams building them, you will have the opportunity to improve how we collaborate, solve operational challenges, and turn plans into results.

This position is fully on-site at our office in Gaziemir, İzmir.
