Job description

We are looking for an Operations Director for our client operating in the food industry, to be based in İzmir.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in operations management within the food industry (especially dry food, olive oil, sunflower oil, pickles, and canned goods)
  • Bachelor’s degree in food engineering or industrial engineering
  • Preferably experienced in managing production facilities
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
  • Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills
  • Analytical mindset and results-oriented approach
  • Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office applications
  • Willingness to travel when necessary

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Efficiently manage production, planning, supply chain, quality control, and logistics processes
  • Analyze and continuously improve operational workflows
  • Develop projects aimed at increasing production capacity and efficiency
  • Lead, manage, and monitor the performance of operational teams
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and quality standards (such as ISO, HACCP, etc.)
  • Prepare and implement operational plans aligned with the company’s growth strategies
  • Provide regular reporting to senior management
