Job summary

Allan Myers, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to join our on-site team. You will collaborate with the Project Team to plan and execute heavy civil construction projects, ensuring timely progress and adherence to engineering standards.

The role emphasizes coordination with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to maintain project momentum. The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree, 2+ years in construction management, and OSHA 30-hour training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction management (estimating, operations, and/or engineering).
• OSHA 30-hour training required.
• FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of contract administration systems, job cost management, change orders, labor and equipment reporting, planning and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Manager and Superintendent to develop plans and schedules to meet project goals.
• Interpret drawings and specifications for the Project Team, vendors, and consultants to ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate delivery of permanent materials and ensure timely purchase orders and subcontracts.
• Manage RFI and submittal process and maintain project control logs in CMiC.
• Support project accounting tasks and assist in Change Orders and related documentation.
