Job summary

Phexum seeks an AI Modernization Developer/Consultant to transform legacy software using modern AI technologies. You will design LLM and MCP integration architectures, build secure bridges between traditional systems and AI services, and work on-site at client locations, with travel as needed to deliver innovative modernizations.

Role requires hands-on experience with LLMs, MCP, and microservices, plus a strong problem-solving mindset to engineer practical, scalable solutions for diverse client

Qualifications

• Willing to travel locally and out-of-town for client projects.
• Solid grasp of networking, microservices, and containerization basics.
• Hands-on with or capable of quickly designing LLM/MCP integration solutions.
• Analytical thinker capable of engineering practical, sustainable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client legacy systems and infrastructures to design LLM and MCP integration architectures.
• Build secure, high-performance bridges between traditional systems and modern AI services using HTTP, TCP, API Gateways, and Docker.
• Generate technical proposals and lead modernization initiatives for legacy applications with AI capabilities.
• Work actively on-site at client locations to manage modernization and deployment processes.
• Diagnose bottlenecks during integration and architect custom solutions aligned with client infrastructure.
• Collaborate closely with client technical teams to drive end-to-end system modernizations.
