Job summary

Eclit, a leading IT services company in Turkey, seeks a network and security engineer with 3+ years' experience to join our managed services team. You will manage Citrix ADC, firewalls, VPNs, and security policies to protect client environments and optimize performance.

You will analyze traffic, implement protections, document configurations, and train teammates. A degree is required and certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of network and security management experience, preferably with Managed Services.
• Hands-on with Citrix ADC (NetScaler), Palo Alto, Fortinet, Sophos XG and pfSense firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Manage load balancing, WAF, and security policies on Citrix ADC (NetScaler).
• Install, configure, and maintain Palo Alto, Fortinet, Sophos XG and pfSense firewalls.
• Implement web application security, IPS/IDS, and DDoS protection mechanisms.
• Configure and maintain VPN tunnels (IPSec, SSL-VPN), high availability setups, and NAT rules.
• Analyze network traffic, optimize performance, and enforce security policies.
• Provide technical support for customer and end-user inquiries.
• Conduct daily system checks, log analyses, and incident management activities.
• Review and enhance security policies to address emerging threats.
• Prepare technical documentation and deliver training sessions for team members.

What You Will Do

• Manage load balancing, WAF, and security policies on Citrix ADC (NetScaler)
• Install, configure, and maintain Palo Alto, Fortinet, Sophos, and pfSense firewalls
• Implement web application security, IPS/IDS, and DDoS protection mechanisms
• Configure and maintain VPN tunnels (IPSec, SSL-VPN), high availability setups, and NAT rules across multi-vendor environments
• Analyze network traffic, optimize performance, and enforce security policies
• Provide technical support for customer and end-user inquiries
• Conduct daily system checks, log analyses, and incident management activities
• Review and enhance security policies to address emerging threats
• Prepare technical documentation and deliver training sessions for team members when needed

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• At least 3 years of experience in network and security management, preferably with Managed Services experience
• Advanced knowledge and experience with Citrix ADC (NetScaler), Palo Alto, Fortinet, Sophos XG and pfSense firewalls
• Strong understanding of firewall management, load balancing, and WAF solutions
• Hands-on experience with SSL offloading, reverse proxy, Layer 7 traffic management, and IPS/IDS systems
• Expertise in network security, VPN, NAT, UTM, SSL VPN, and IPSEC VPN technologies
• Experience in open-source and commercial firewall platforms, including policy-based routing, failover, and VPN gateway management
• Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking abilities
• Strong team player with a customer-focused service approach
• Citrix, Palo Alto (PCNSE), Fortinet (NSE), and Sophos Certified Engineer/Architect certifications are preferred
