Job summary

Doktar Technologies is seeking a Mid-Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design, build, and deploy production-grade AI systems across vision, language models, and MLOps. You’ll work in a fast-moving, interdisciplinary team with a strong focus on reliability and impact.

You’ll lead cross-functional collaboration to align metrics, SLAs, and success criteria while mentoring peers and advancing the AI stack in a hybrid Istanbul setting.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years of experience delivering ML models or infrastructure in production.
• Strong Python skills with focus on reliability and maintainability.
• Solid understanding of deep learning architectures (CNNs, transformers).
• Experience with production ML: model serving, versioning, monitoring.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), Docker, and workflow tools (Airflow, MLflow, Kubeflow, Azure ML).
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and automated MLOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects across the ML lifecycle: data, training, inference, and monitoring pipelines with CI/CD and versioning.
• Build reliable and scalable ML systems focusing on latency, cost, observability, and retraining.
• Translate research into production: turn experiments into maintainable services.
• Collaborate with data, platform, and product teams to align on metrics and SLAs.
• Mentor peers and promote reproducible experimentation.
• Ensure trustworthiness of deployed models via validation and continuous evaluation.
