Job description

Our client, a magic circle law firm, is seeking a mid-level Associate to join the Banking team of their Istanbul office.

We are looking for an English or Common Law Qualified Banking Associate who would sit in the English law practice. This team advises on a wide variety of financing transactions, including general lending, project finance, acquisition finance and debt restructuring, across Turkey, the Middle East and CIS. The role involves working closely with the Istanbul-based partners as well as an opportunity to work with other partners across the firms' network.

The office itself has a mix of Turkish nationals and expats so English is spoken widely in the office.

Key requirements

English or common law qualified banking lawyer with experience working on cross border financing transactions
The role is for a mid-level associate although more senior/junior candidates with an interest in Turkey are also encouraged to apply
