Job summary

Magnum Ice Cream Company is seeking a highly experienced PMO Lead to drive the METSA OPUS deployment across Wave 4 and Wave 6 markets. You will provide governance, planning, and risk management leadership in a global transformation programme.

You will collaborate with regional deployment teams and the global programme office to ensure milestones are met, budgets tracked, and dashboards delivered to senior leadership. This role requires strong stakeholder management across countries.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in PMO or project management roles within large‑scale transformation, separation, or complex business change programmes.
• Proven experience delivering large‑scale systems implementations in multi‑geography, multi‑disciplinary environments.
• Strong understanding of deployment planning, programme governance, and risk management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder networks across multiple countries and cultures.
• Outstanding organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple overlapping deadlines while maintaining high‑quality output.
• Proficiency in project management and reporting tools (e.g., MS Project, Power BI and planning tools).
• PMO, MSP, PMP, or equivalent programme/project management certification.
• Prior experience in carve‑out, separation, or standalone business deployments.

Responsibilities

• Establish and enforce PMO governance standards across METSA OPUS deployment workstreams.
• Own the development, integration, and execution of Wave 4 and Wave 6 deployment plans across METSA markets.
• Track milestones, dependencies, and critical paths across multiple markets, ensuring alignment to global timelines.
• Maintain and actively manage logs, ensuring early identification and resolution of risks and issues.
• Develop mitigation scenarios and escalate critical risks and dependencies to senior leadership as required.
• Consolidate market and workstream updates into clear, concise executive dashboards.
• Provide accurate, timely, and insight‑driven reporting to the BU Deployment Lead and Global PMO.
• Coordinate closely with METSA market deployment teams, the global METSA OPUS programme office, and functional leads.
• Support regional resource planning and capacity management for METSA OPUS deployment activities.
• Track deployment‑related budgets, identify variances, and support mitigation planning.

The role

This role is a fixed-term position. The METSA Magnum One PMO Lead plays a critical role in the successful deployment and separation of the newly listed Ice Cream business across the METSA region. Partnering closely with the BU Deployment Lead, this role provides PMO leadership to ensure fully standalone systems, organisations, and processes are delivered across Wave 4 and Wave 6 markets.

This position sits at the heart of a high‑priority global programme, offering the opportunity to drive execution excellence, influence senior stakeholders, and build deep expertise in large‑scale transformation and separation programmes.

Programme Governance & Control

• Establish and enforce PMO governance standards across all METSA OPUS deployment workstreams.

Reporting & Performance Insights

We're Looking For Someone Who
