Job summary

Johnson Controls in Izmir is seeking a materials planning specialist to ensure timely availability of materials supporting production schedules and supply chain operations.

You will coordinate with suppliers, production, and inventory teams to maintain a smooth flow of materials, monitor inventory levels, and support optimization initiatives. Proficiency in English and ERP/MRP systems will be beneficial in this fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in materials planning, supply chain, inventory management, procurement, manufacturing, or related operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP/MRP knowledge preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure materials are available to support production schedules and operational requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers, production, and inventory teams to maintain a smooth flow of materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and support inventory optimization initiatives.
• Work with suppliers to procure materials in line with production demands.
• Coordinate material deliveries to meet production schedules and inventory objectives.
• Support production planning and scheduling activities when required.
• Identify and help resolve material shortages and supply chain disruptions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Inventory Management.
• Analyze material requirements and inventory data to support operational efficiency.
• Track supplier deliveries and address potential supply risks.
• Maintain accurate records within ERP and planning systems.
• Drive effective communication across stakeholders to ensure alignment with production plans and business objectives.
