Job summary

A leading manufacturer of marine products in Izmir, Turkey, is seeking a Marketing Specialist with a strong interest in boating. You will manage various marketing efforts, create content for social media, and participate in traditional marketing activities. Ideal candidates possess a degree in Marketing or Business, excellent communication skills in English and Turkish, and are knowledgeable in boating terminology. This is an onsite role.

NORTHSTAR IS LOOKING FOR A MARKETING SPECIALIST WITH BOATING INTEREST

Northstar is a leading developer and manufacturer of Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats (RIBs). Northstar RIBs are exported worldwide to countries like USA, UK, Australia, Sweden, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, etc.

We are looking to hire a Marketing Specialist to manage our online and offline marketing effort.

Responsibilities

• Candidate should preferably have a degree in Marketing or any other business degree to support such role.
• Candidate will be responsible for the creation of printed and non printed media, including but not limited to catalogs, brochures, owners manuals, marketing support materials, point of sales merchandise, general branded merchandise.
• Candidate should be ready to run and create content for multiple social media channels with key targets. Content creation is a key part of this job.
• Candidate will also take part in the organization of more traditional marketing activities such as Boat Shows at home and abroad.
• Candidate will also be responsible for events planning such as organizing open houses, boat test days and other boating events.
• We very much prefer candidates who are interested in and knowledgeable about boats. She/he must have command of terminology used in the recreational marine field and should explain her/his experience with boats on their applications. If you have just been on a boat, this is not experience.
• Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Turkish.
• Graphics design knowledge will be preferential.
• Traveling is part of this job. Candidate must be free to travel.
• Northstar plants are located in and around Ayrancılar, Izmir, Turkey. Izmir residency will be preferential.
• This is an onsite job.
