Global Business Services (GBS) provides services to Sony, globally, in a wide range of areas ranging from Online Marketing to Translation and Project Management. GBS – Marketing Services is delivering global content management operations for Sony Global Websites, working with multi-cultural and diverse teams incl. Sony HQ and over 50+ sales countries.
Reporting to the Category Supervisor or Manager, Associate Specialist is expected to:
- Manage online content or product launches for Sony global websites over at 50+ countries
- Make sure content deployment operations are delivered on time, with high quality
- Execute online publishing needs across multiple stakeholders
- Provide assistance to global web teams in order to support additions and modifications of global web content
- Constantly develop content point of view, provide consultancy to global web teams in terms of global web content management where necessary
- Analyze the details of regional content requirements, determine approaches and available sources and apply effectively
- Liaison between business stakeholders and technology support ensuring technical issues and user helpdesk questions are addressed promptly and adequately.
- Maintain good relationships and open communication, ensuring the satisfaction of the internal customer during product-line up and web content refresh activities
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
- Excellent planning, co-ordination and communication skills
- Educational background on Business Administration, Marketing and Communications is preferable
- 1-2 years of equivalent work experience preferable. We also welcome fresh graduates
- Able to work flexible hours and different time zones when required
- Knowledge of web content management tools is a plus
- Adaptive to dynamic and energetic office environment
- Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills, ability to work cooperatively in a high-performing team
- Cross-functional and cultural working
- Independent and proactive approach to business partnering, able to inspire confidence, manage expectations and meet the aspirations of both external and internal stakeholders.
- Capable and calm problem solver, able to inspire confidence at all levels by delivering under pressure
- Fluent in English verbally & written and able to work within a global company English is the corporate language
- Knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Extraordinary detail orientation combined with the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Open-minded and flexible personality, open to change and willing to work under changing circumstances
- Willingness to travel
