Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Technician for its Dilovası/Kocaeli transformer facility.

The role focuses on detailed quality inspections, dimensional and functional testing, and NCR handling to ensure components and assemblies meet stringent standards. You will work closely with engineering and production teams, employing SAP QM for quality tracking while adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Manufacturing Quality Technician who will be able to demonstrate knowledge in Hitachi Energy Power Transformers Factory in Dilovası/Kocaeli.

How you'll make an impact:

• Perform detailed quality inspections to ensure components meet specifications.
• Conduct dimensional, visual, and functional tests on transformer units.
• Utilize SAP QM for tracking inspection results, quality metrics, and reporting.
• Document and process Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for defective or non-compliant components, ensuring timely
• corrective actions.
• Ensure all transformer assemblies comply with industry standards, technical drawings, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues.
• Operate testing equipment and tools necessary for inspections.
• Support process improvements.
• Adhere to safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines in final assembly operations.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external & internal regulations, procedures & guidelines.

Your Background:

• Technical high school diploma or Vocational School graduation from Electrical departments (preferably holding a 2-year associate degree or a 4-year degree in a technical field).
• At least 3 years of experience preferably in the transformer sector.
• Knowledgeable about technical drawing, measuring instruments, SAP QM module and NCR.
• Having communication skills in English and Turkish.
• Previous experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills for identifying defects and conducting root cause analysis.
• Able to adapt a shift work system and accommodate overtime when necessary.
