Job Description
- Ensure the operational readiness and technical performance of automated cutting equipment.
- Develop, maintain and optimize cutting patterns advanced multi-material structures.
- Collaborate closely with planning, prefabrication and raw material processing teams.
- Optimize the production process from both technical and cost-efficiency perspectives.
- Design and provide technical support for the procurement and commissioning of cutting-related machinery and equipment.
- Lead, guide, and motivate team members involved in the cutting process.
- Drive process improvements and support ergonomic workplace design initiatives.
- Monitor production performance and prepare regular technical and efficiency reports.
- Promote the economical use of raw, auxiliary, and operating materials.
- Ensure compliance with occupational safety, environmental regulations, quality standards, and internal procedures.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a comparable technical field.
- Several years of experience in the production of high-precision, large scale components within complex manufacturing environments.
- Solid knowledge of production planning, process control, and workflow optimization.
- Proven experience in leading and motivating teams in multi-shift production environments.
- Strong focus on quality, with familiarity in quality management systems and processes (e.g. APQP or equivalent).
- Good understanding of occupational safety standards and applicable regulations in manufacturing environments.
- Project management capabilities, including planning, scheduling, and cost control.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Confident user of standard office software; experience with ERP systems (such as SAP) and basic 2D CAD knowledge is a plus.
- Willingness and ability to lead operational teams in a three-shift system.
- Experience with nesting software and cutting pattern optimization tools.
- Ability to collaborate with external equipment suppliers and spare parts providers.
