About Our Client
- The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring the reliability and operational readiness of production facilities by leading maintenance activities, coordinating projects, and managing multi-disciplinary teams. This role includes overseeing installation, servicing, and optimization of equipment and infrastructure in a multi-shift manufacturing environment.
Job Description
- Ensure maintenance and upkeep of production assets to guarantee uninterrupted operational output.
- Manage and coordinate installation, maintenance, and capital investment projects related to production machinery and infrastructure.
- Oversee coordination with external contractors and service providers, including supervision of acceptance testing (Site Acceptance Test and Factory Acceptance Tests).
- Plan, schedule, and document maintenance activities and procedures.
- Manage deployment and scheduling of maintenance personnel across multiple shifts.
- Lead a team of specialists across maintenance disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, building services, and metalworking.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Continuously improve maintenance strategies, processes, and cost efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Extensive experience in process technology maintenance and production facility upkeep.
- Strong technical knowledge spanning electrical, mechanical, and fluid mechanical systems.
- Practical problem-solving skills and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work effectively in teams with excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Thorough understanding of occupational health and safety regulations.
- Proven assertiveness and strong communication capabilities.
- Preferred experience managing projects and overseeing supplier and factory acceptance testing (Site Acceptance Test and Factory Acceptance Tests).
- Experience coordinating tasks across national and international teams.
