Job summary

Jobspage is seeking a mid-level AIT Engineer to own assembly, integration, and test activities for CubeSat subsystems, including avionics, power, radios, and sensors. The role is hands-on and execution-heavy, based in a clean room, with end-to-end responsibility from bring-up to launch preparation.

You will troubleshoot electrical and thermal issues, develop harnesses, calibrate GSE, integrate firmware with flight hardware, and generate test reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with embedded hardware and space-grade interfaces.
• Hands-on hardware bring-up and integration experience.

Responsibilities

• Own AIT activities end-to-end for CubeSat subsystems.
• Perform hands-on hardware bring-up, integration, debugging, re-test.
• Define and build harnesses and maintain interconnect docs.
• Develop and maintain GSE, test setups, and instrumentation.
• Integrate software components with flight hardware.
• Write tests, execute campaigns, and produce reports.
• Plan environmental test campaigns (TVAC, vibration, etc.).
• Troubleshoot electrical, thermal, and mechanical anomalies.
• Apply EMI/EMC principles during integration and test.
• Work with onboard interfaces such as RS-422/232, UART, I2C, CSP, SPI, CAN.
• Maintain traceable AIT documentation (ICDs, test plans).
• Support launch campaign integration and operations on-site when required.
