Job summary

Roche Diagnostics Turkiye seeks an experienced Legal Counsel to join the Legal team in protecting our reputation and guiding strategic decisions with expert legal input. You will oversee compliance, mitigate risks, support governance, and advise on business operations.

You will manage contracts, handle litigation, monitor regulatory developments, and ensure policies align with law. Fluent English and 6–7 years in relevant areas are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Law (Master's preferred).
• At least 6-7 years of experience in contract law, commercial law, and tender law.
• Strong ability to develop business models and customer solutions that drive results.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills; additional languages are a plus.
• High adaptability and commitment to continuous learning.
• Analytical, investigative, and organizational skills.
• Healthcare industry experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating bilingual legal documents such as contracts and agreements.
• Leading key contract negotiations and maintaining Roche's contract template pool.
• Keeping company departments updated on changes in laws and recent cases, assessing potential risks, and offering legal solutions.
• Handling litigation to safeguard Roche's legal rights and interests.
• Managing corporate maintenance topics, including company registration and corporate filings.
• Overseeing external legal counsel on various legal matters.
• Providing legal support for commercial and operational projects.
• Delivering legal training to employees and third parties, such as distributors and suppliers.
• Managing legal department reporting responsibilities and documentation.
