Job summary

ESEN in Turkey seeks a senior software engineer with extensive experience in signal processing and defense-related EW/SIGINT projects. You will plan and oversee software life cycle activities, contribute to architecture, and ensure deliverables align with project commitments.

The role requires 10+ years in signal processing, hands-on work in RF systems, and proficiency in MATLAB, Python and C/C++. International travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in Signal Processing.
• Experience in the defense industry, preferably in EW and/or SIGINT.
• Hands-on involvement in EW/SIGINT domains such as RF systems, signal processing, or military communication systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan concurrent software life cycle activities and the development of SW components.
• Monitor, refine, re-plan technical schedule in accordance with project commitments.
• Generate potential/alternative software solutions and select preferred software solution among alternatives.
• Definition of the software architecture and derived requirements for software.

• MS, or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field,
• 10+ years of professional experience in Signal Processing,
• Experience in the defense industry, preferably in Electronic Warfare (EW) and/or Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) projects,
• Hands-on involvement in EW/SIGINT-related domains such as RF systems, signal processing, or military communication systems,
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills,
• Excellent command of English,
• Flexible to travel internationally for business when required.
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and related analytical toolchains,
