Job summary

EPAM Systems in Turkey is seeking a Lead QA Automation Engineer to drive test automation with Python and Pytest, covering UI and REST API layers. You will leverage AI-assisted engineering to decompose tasks, design scenarios, and validate AI outputs, maintaining robust QA practices.

You will collaborate with developers and stakeholders, perform SQL data checks, and contribute to non-functional testing initiatives while owning QA initiatives end-to-end.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and test automation experience.
• UI and REST API testing with Pytest, Pydantic, and Requests.
• Experience with AI-assisted QA workflows and LLMs.
• Ability to decompose tasks for AI-assisted execution and review AI output.
• SQL knowledge and data validation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for UI and back-office applications using Python and Pytest.
• Develop and maintain UI and REST API automation with expanded coverage.

We are looking for a Lead QA Automation Engineer with strong Python expertise and hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering practices to join our engineering team. In this role, you will combine advanced test automation skills with a modern approach to AI-assisted software quality engineering, taking ownership of QA initiatives and driving improvements across the testing lifecycle.You will work with LLMs and AI-assisted workflows to decompose complex QA tasks, create and manage engineering artifacts, improve test design and automation efficiency, and critically evaluate AI-generated output.
