Job summary

Serco Inc. invites a qualified Project Manager to lead PORTS program efforts in Middletown, Rhode Island. You will liaison between customers and teams, manage budgets, schedules, and data items per DoD standards, and present status to Serco and Navy stakeholders.

You will bring at least 5 years of management experience, familiarity with software development projects, and a DoD Secret clearance eligibility. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, applied science, or management.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience including profit and loss.
• Experience with software development projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects and liaison between Program Manager, Customer, and project team.
• Review status of projects and budgets; review project work products; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
• Prepare data items in accordance with DoD requirements.
• Adhere to quality objectives, technical metrics, and schedules.
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status.
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Participate in proposal activities for new projects.
