Job summary

OBSS is seeking a Lead Data Architect to design and implement end-to-end Data Lakehouse platforms using open-source technologies. You will lead architecture, data ingestion, processing, storage, and analytics layers, while collaborating with stakeholders across teams.

The role requires deep data architecture expertise, strong leadership, and excellent English communication. Willingness to travel to Ankara weekly or biweekly is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 10+ years in data architecture or large-scale data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with end-to-end Data Lakehouse using open-source tech.
• Strong knowledge of Iceberg, Flink, Kafka, Spark, Airbyte, dbt, MinIO, Debezium.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and end-to-end implementation of open-source Data Lakehouse projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define goals, requirements, and timelines.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams.
