Job summary

Iq Motion is seeking an experienced PHP Developer to join our growing team in Konak, Izmir. You will build web applications using Laravel, design and maintain MySQL databases, and implement RESTful APIs.

You will write clean, well-tested code, collaborate across the development lifecycle, and stay updated on industry best practices. Strong knowledge of PHP 7.x+, WordPress is a plus; TDD experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in a PHP Developer role.
• Expertise with PHP 7.x+ in production environments.
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases, version control tools, and web services.
• Experience building and interacting with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with 3rd party APIs (Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
• Experience with WordPress and WordPress plug-ins is preferred.
• Comfortable with automated tests (TDD, integration testing, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Building web applications using the Laravel framework, particularly PHP-based applications using Composer-based frameworks
• Produce “clean” and well-structured code, with detailed specifications
• Collaborate with the team in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Experienced in designing and maintaining MySQL databases
• A passion for Test-driven code
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure vital optimization and functionality
• Design and implement new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
• Stay informed about industry best practices
• Experience with responsive web design; knowledge of the Bootstrap framework a plus
