Overview

The University of Hong Kong invites applications for Laboratory Attendant in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Ref.: 533152). The appointment is a two-year fixed-term full-time contract with potential renewal. The position will handle general laboratory technical support tasks, cleaning, and other delegated duties. The contract includes gratuity and University contributions to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general laboratory technical support tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness in the laboratory.
• Be responsible for other delegated duties.
• If necessary, work in shifts.

Qualifications And Qualities

• Form 3 or equivalent;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills;
• Ability to communicate in Cantonese, understand Putonghua and English;
• Ability to read and write Chinese and simple English;
• Ability to work independently;
• Applicants with basic computer knowledge or home maintenance skills will be given priority consideration.
