Job summary

Freudenberg Group invites a detail-oriented laboratory professional to join our QC team. You will manage calibration, verification of equipment, and COA preparation while maintaining thorough records and supporting investigations into customer complaints.

The role requires a chemistry- or engineering-related degree with 1–4 years’ lab/QC experience, familiarity with ISO/ASTM standards, and strong analytical and communication skills in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in chemistry or chemical engineering.
• 1–4 years of laboratory or quality control experience.
• Knowledge of lab testing methods and QC processes.
• Experience with equipment calibration, maintenance and verification.
• Familiarity with TSE, ASTM, DIN and related standards.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, IATF 16949 and EHS requirements.
• Experience in COA preparation and laboratory documentation.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and reporting skills.
• Good communication, teamwork and MS Office proficiency.
• Intermediate level English proficiency (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage laboratory operations, equipment maintenance, calibration and verification activities.
• Perform quality control testing of raw materials and finished products and maintain related records.
• Prepare and manage Certificates of Analysis (COA).
• Maintain witness samples and laboratory documentation in accordance with company procedures.
• Support customer complaint investigations through testing and reporting activities.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, ASTM, DIN and internal testing standards.
• Lead and support continuous improvement (OPEX) initiatives.
• Coordinate product inspections, audits and certification activities.
• Monitor laboratory budget needs and equipment investments.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, IATF 16949, EHS requirements and legal regulations.
