Job summary

Gratis, a leading Turkish retailer, seeks a BI Engineer to design, develop and maintain BI solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory and OneLake. Build interactive dashboards in Power BI and help shape data-driven decisions.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in BI/Data Analytics, strong SQL and data modeling skills, and experience with ETL/ELT processes. Excellent collaboration with business teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing or Analytics.
• Preferably experienced with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory and OneLake.
• Strong experience in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query (M) and dashboard development.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, with experience writing and optimizing complex queries.
• Solid understanding of dimensional data modeling (Star/Snowflake).
• Experience designing and developing ETL/ELT processes.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain BI solutions using Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory and OneLake components.
• Develop interactive dashboards, reports and KPI visualizations using Power BI to support business decision-making.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable BI and reporting solutions.
• Design and maintain efficient data models to support reporting and analytics.
• Develop, optimize and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures and database objects for reporting and analytical workloads.
• Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure reliable, accurate and timely data integration.
• Optimize Power BI datasets, semantic models, DAX measures and report performance.
• Collaborate with business users to understand reporting requirements and deliver high-quality analytical solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and continuously improve BI solutions for scalability, reliability and performance.
• Stay up to date with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and data platform best practices.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
