Job summary

Atlas Copco in Istanbul, Türkiye is seeking a Junior Supply Chain Specialist to join our Logistics team. You will monitor customs, foreign trade and purchasing operations to keep materials flowing on time and in compliance.

You will work with SAP (MM/SD) and Excel to track shipments, stock movements, and vendor onboarding, growing into the go-to person for resolving delivery exceptions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, foreign trade or purchasing.
• English at C1 level in writing and B2 level in speaking
• Good command of MS Excel
• Experience with SAP (MM/SD) is a plus
• Strong analytical and deductive thinking: you understand how systems work and the logic behind processes
• A fast learner who grasps things the first time and applies them independently

Responsibilities

• Monitor customs, foreign trade and sanctions legislation daily and flag changes that affect our operations.
• Coordinate import and export shipments with customs brokers, freight forwarders and carriers, including cargo insurance and file archiving.
• Run daily SAP checks on outbound deliveries and stock transfers, and report the results in Excel.
• Post goods movements in SAP and take part in inventory counts together with the warehouse team.
• Manage indirect purchasing through our procurement platform, onboard new suppliers and create stock transport orders for direct purchases.
• Grow into the go-to person for resolving exceptions in delivery and goods issue processes.

In this role, your mission is to keep our foreign trade, warehouse and purchasing operations running accurately, on time and in full compliance, ensuring the right materials reach the right place without disruption. You will contribute directly to how we create high‑quality products and solutions for our customers.
