Job description

Amaris Consulting is looking for a skilled Mid/Senior Java Developer to support digital transformation and modernization projects in enterprise environments. This is a full remote position, with optional access to the Libadiye office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure the implementation of best practices.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable microservices.
• Contribute to system architecture and help transition legacy applications into modern, containerized microservice environments.
• Optimize application performance and ensure the security and scalability of systems.
• Maintain documentation and provide technical support throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and best practices.
• Preferably experienced with one or more of the following technologies:
• Docker
• AWS
• OpenShift
• Experience working on microservice migration or transformation projects is a plus.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to write clean, maintainable code.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
