The Weir Group is seeking a Systems and Inventory Specialist for the EMECA region, based in Dilovası, Turkey. The role centers on inventory governance, SAP IM/EWM stewardship, stock takes, and SOP standardization to improve accuracy and controls.

You will train warehouse teams and collaborate across procurement, planning, logistics, and sales to ensure stock availability and compliance. Ideal candidates bring strong SAP experience, hands-on inventory management skills, and a data-driven mindset

Responsibilities

• Inventory governance & accuracy: align physical inventory with SAP records in the EMECA region, onsite authority for controls.
• Lead annual stock takes and cycle counts; investigate variances and root causes with corrective actions.
• Serve as the SAP inventory and warehouse SME (IM/EWM); ensure timely, accurate inventory movements and data quality.
• Review, update and standardize SOPs; train warehouse and supply chain teams on SAP processes.

You’ll work with purpose, learn every day and help shape a more sustainable future. **What you’ll do** • **Inventory Governance & Accuracy:** Support inventory management across the EMECA region, primarily focusing on Turkey. Ensure alignment between physical inventory and SAP system records, acting as the onsite authority on inventory control, compliance, and risk management. Success means achieving inventory accuracy targets and reducing discrepancies. • **Stock Take & Audit Management:** Lead and support annual physical stock takes and cycle counts to maintain continuous inventory accuracy. Ensure audit readiness by providing necessary information to auditors and investigating variances with root cause analysis and corrective actions. • **Systems Management & SAP Governance:** Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for SAP inventory and warehouse processes (IM/EWM). Enforce system discipline by ensuring timely and accurate recording of inventory movements, identifying system improvement opportunities, and driving data quality enhancements. • **SOP Management, Review & Training:** Assist in reviewing, updating, and standardizing SOPs related to inventory and system processes. Lead training initiatives for warehouse and supply chain teams on SAP processes, inventory controls, and SOP compliance. • **Warehouse & Distribution Operational Support:** Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, planning, logistics, and sales teams to ensure stock availability, reduce excess inventory, and improve customer service levels. Provide operational support to the warehouse manager as deputy. • **Process Standardisation & Continuous Improvement:** Support harmonization of inventory and warehouse processes across EMECA sites. Identify inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement initiatives, promoting best practices and digital tools. • **Performance Management & Reporting:** Develop monthly inventory and warehouse KPI reports, analyze trends, and provide data-driven insights. Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for KPI deviations to improve working capital and operational efficiency. • **Compliance, Risk & Governance:** Ensure adherence to company policies, financial governance, and regional regulations.
