Job summary

Genesis HealthCare System is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide inpatient rehabilitation therapy. The role involves evaluating, planning, and treating patients with a range of diagnoses, delivering group or individual sessions, and ensuring accurate documentation.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and may cross-train across locations within the rehab services. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in OT, an active Ohio OT license, NBCOT

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current Ohio OT license and NBCOT certification.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Minimum of one clinical rotation in Rehabilitation Services setting.
• Valid driver's license and auto liability insurance (HomeCare).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and treat patients referred to the service.
• Provide group or individual therapy to diverse patient populations.
• Document accurately and in a timely manner per policies.
• Supervise assistants and coordinate with department staff.
• Assist with orientation and cross-training as needed.
