Kronospan is seeking an Occupational Safety Specialist to safeguard operations in our manufacturing environment. The role focuses on audits, policy development, training, incident investigation, and accurate reporting to maintain a compliant and safe workplace.

The successful candidate will contribute to continuous improvement in safety standards, collaborate with teams, and support field safety across varying shifts and locations.

Qualifications

• Occupational Health and Safety Certificate, relevant BcS degree (preferably forest industry or chemicals production related bachelor’s degree).
• Fluency in English is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in HSE department, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of fire safety and fire systems is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license.
• Flexibility to work varying hours and field areas as required.

Responsabilités

• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with OHS regulations.
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
• Investigate accidents and incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Provide safety training to employees.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with management and employees to create a safe work environment.
