Job summary

Aksa Akrilik Kimya Sanayii A.S. in Yalova is seeking an Environmental Manager to lead environmental management and consultancy processes within YALKİM OSB.

The role requires strong regulatory knowledge and experience with chemical and energy sector environmental practices. You will organize the Environmental Department, coordinate EIA and licensing, and ensure compliance across emissions, wastewater and waste management while staying current with evolving environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in environmental management or consultancy in large industrial facilities.
• Experience in chemical and/or energy sectors and regulatory regimes.
• Hands-on with EIA/ÇED, permits, emissions, wastewater, and waste management.
• Knowledge of SKHKKY, SAİS, SEÖS, MET, SYD and Industrial Emissions Management.
• Ability to track regulatory changes and coordinate with authorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory-compliant environmental consultancy for YALKİM OIZ and participants.
• Organize Environmental Department, assign tasks, and coordinate activities.
• Monitor company obligations and provide technical guidance on regulations.
• Coordinate EIA, permits, and licensing processes.
• Stay updated on SYD, BAT, and Industrial Emissions Management practices.
• Oversee emissions, waste, wastewater, and other environmental aspects for chemical and energy sectors.
• Supervise monitoring, data transmission, and reporting under SKHKKY/SAIS/SEÖS.
• Ensure proper waste management and wastewater treatment in compliance.
• Coordinate environmental measurement, analysis, monitoring, and reporting.
• Inform management of regulatory changes affecting operations.
• Provide technical coordination with Ministry, Provincial Directorate, and others.
• Prepare for inspections and lead corrective/preventive actions.
• Assess environmental risks and lead improvement initiatives.
