  • Definition of technical specification for new installation / new machine functionality
  • Carry out the functional analysis of the installation & support integrator in this task
  • Master robotic programs provided by the suppliers
  • Define upgrades on existing equipment (process improvement, mitigation of machine weaknesses, etc …)
  • Be able to modify / qualify new robotic programs based on production need (dry runs, offline simulation)
  • Support integrators in new project implementation (documentation review, PFMEA, project follow-up,etc…)
  • Participate to Design Review for new robotic project installation
  • Participate to the machine acceptance test (all functionality tests)
  • Be able to adjust machine settings & make cell calibration
  • Make simulation of new 3D cell via offline programming
  • Define robotic operator training strategy, competency requirement (operator training, basic programming training)
  • Training program for Operators (Internal/External)
  • In charge of the development and implementation of the Robotics – Automation on site: (TS, PFMEA, Design review, offline checks, TPT for robot scope calculation)
  • Validate with supplier on tooling concept & validate 3D models
  • Generate robotic work instruction for machine operation, safety, etc
  • Accompany manufacturing team in production ramp-up
  • Interface with Jigs-Tools department to verify accessibility and kinematics of Robot operation
  • In charge of cell problem solving, troubleshooting along with maintenance department
  • Robot back up plan to be handed over to maintenance on a regular basis
  • Comply with EHS Alstom Standards
  • In case chosen as single point of contact for Automation & Robotic central team :
  • Inform HQ when new project before RFI/RFQ
  • Report about performance KPI of the cell and usage per semester
  • Inform if local organization needs support on existing cells
  • Complete and share REX
  • Inform of innovation studies
