Human Resources Manager - Operations
Our client is a global leader within the pharmaceutical industry operating in a highly specialised area.
Due to growth they are now looking for an HR Manager, Operations to join their team in Gebze, Turkey. This is a high-impact position, directly supporting the VP Operations and overseeing all HR functions at the plant, from talent acquisition and workforce planning to compliance, training, and employee engagement. Reporting to the Head of HR, with a dotted line to HR VP, you will work at the heart of a regulated, high-precision manufacturing environment, helping to shape a culture of safety, performance, and scientific excellence.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead recruitment for critical technical and operational roles (production, QA/QC, engineering, logistics)
Build and execute workforce planning strategies aligned with growth and compliance needs Ensure compliance with Turkish labor laws, SGK requirements, and internal policies
Support audits and inspections by national and international regulatory bodies
Oversee GMP and radiation-related training; ensure training readiness for inspections
Work closely with EHS to uphold stringent health and safety standards
Drive performance management, talent development, and succession planning
Manage all aspects of HR operations, including payroll, HRIS, benefits, and reporting
Promote a culture of employee engagement, safety-first thinking, and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
️ Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or similar (Master’s preferred).
️ 8–10+ years of HR experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical, healthcare manufacturing or a regulated manufacturing environment
️ Exposure to international regulatory environments (e.g. FDA, EMA, IAEA)
️ Strong knowledge of Turkish labor legislation and health & safety laws
️ Fluent in Turkish and English, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
️ Experience working in a matrixed multinational organisation
️ Familiarity with SAP or similar HRIS is a plus
️ Certification in Human Resources or Occupational Health & Safety is a plus.
