Job Description:
- Leading field operations by collaborating with relevant teams and stakeholders
- Taking the lead in ensuring safe work areas by following up on nonconformities
- Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements for employees and subcontractors within the work area
- Managing the Work Permit System across disciplines
- Participating in global safety processes
- Leading and implementing digital and AI-supported HSE projects
- Preparing corporate reports and presentations
- Conducting data analysis and reporting related to departmental processes
- Ability to manage the work schedules in a dynamic work tempo
- Taking the lead in implementing Arvato’s Occupational Health and Safety requirements at newly established warehouse sites
- Participating Health, Safety and Environment audits and assessments from external parties and customers.
- Attending global Health and Safety meetings and being part of global projects.
Qualifications:
- Having a degree in Occupational Safety or Engineering
- Preferably holding a NEBOSH certificate
- Having strong knowledge of ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, and being capable of applying their requirements
- Having proficiency in written and spoken English
- Preferably having experience in using QDMS
- Having at least 3 years of experience in the logistics sector and a minimum of 10 years in HSE roles
- Being proficient in MS Office programs
- Being team-oriented and experienced in team management
- Having experience in corporate reporting and business correspondence
- Having strong written and verbal communication skills
- Being responsible, disciplined, and detail-oriented
- Having strong analytical thinking and advanced problem-solving skills
- Having no military obligation (For male candidates)
- Holding a valid driver’s license and being an active driver
- Residing in Istanbul (Asian side) or Kocaeli
- Being research-driven, self-developing, and capable of sharing knowledge both verbally and in writing
