Job description

Responsibilities:

• Support PM to carry out HSE work and assume responsibilities of execution and supervision.
• Formulate the project HSE plan based on GWI IMS and applicable local laws and regulations.
• Ensure statutory requirements related to activities and products are identified, compliance levels evaluated, and non-compliances closed across all locations and sites in the country.
• Conduct HSE training for project employees, subcontractor personnel, and external personnel.
• Perform on-site HSE inspections, propose corrective measures, and ensure issues are resolved.
• Support and participate in quarterly HSE meetings, report issues, and coordinate with regional and headquarters HSE managers.
• Promote HSE awareness and organize activities on project sites.
• Prepare emergency plans and organize drills on project sites.
• Report HSE incidents and accidents promptly and participate in investigations.
• Support internal audits and ensure audit findings are addressed appropriately.
• Collaborate with the Country GM, management team, and support functions to achieve HSE objectives.
• Coordinate daily activities between clients, Goldwind, and subcontractors.
• Develop health and safety site plans.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; share findings among project parties.
• Recommend solutions and provide advice.
• Assist engineering and operations teams in health, safety, and environmental matters related to client interactions.
• Prepare risk assessments, emergency response plans, and conduct safety drills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience as an HSE manager, supervisor, or similar role with hands-on site management experience.
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, critical thinking, and self-initiative skills.
• Ability to multitask, handle ambiguity and pressure, and develop schemes and processes from scratch.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.
