Job description

Duties and Responsibilities

As Human Resources Specialist, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following areas:

  1. Assist in preparing HR & Training plans for the resort (biannual/annual) based on systematic research and needs analysis.
  2. Provide information to prepare an expenditure budget for the training department.
  3. Coordinate with Home Office on new mandatory training programs and materials.
  4. Coordinate training with all departmental trainers for every section and monitor operational training.
  5. Assist the Director of HR in preparing monthly training reports and collating all departmental training hours for inclusion in the monthly report sent to the Home Office.
  6. Assist with recruitment and interview processes.
  7. Assist with coordination of new hire orientation and training for new hosts.
  8. Assist with various host events and initiatives, along with other administrative duties.
  9. Maintain Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation, ensuring performance benchmarks are met and exceeded.
  10. Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.
Qualifications

To succeed as a Human Resources Specialist, the following qualifications, technical skills, and experience are required:

  • Diploma or equivalent in Business, preferably in Human Resources, with at least 1 year of experience in a similar luxury hotel setting. A hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
  • Technical skills include advanced proficiency in MS Office and Outlook platforms.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are preferred.
