We’re on the lookout for true leaders. We need a Hotel Manager for the Holiday Inn Istanbul Beylikdüzü hotel that we will be managing, to take the top job and make it their own. Taking ownership of the day-to-day hotel operations, maximizing financial returns, driving people development, and empowering our team to create memorable guest experiences every step along the way.
Key Accountabilities
People
- Develop programmes and initiatives to increase team engagement aligned with the hotel’s service philosophy.
- Develop, implement, and monitor team member succession planning to ensure future bench strength.
- Establish performance and development goals for team members and provide mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback to enhance performance.
- Oversee HR-related actions in accordance with company rules and policies.
Guest Experience
- Demonstrate brand citizenship by maintaining compliance with all required brand and service standards.
- Drive improvements in guest satisfaction goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues and hotel team members to establish and implement services and programmes that meet or exceed guest expectations.
- Engage with guests—ask for feedback and build relationships.
Financial
- Prepare annual capital, cash flow, and sales and marketing plans to accurately forecast budgets.
- Analyze financials to drive revenues, future profitability, and maximum return on investment.
- Utilize distribution channels and technology platforms to drive revenue and maximize market share.
- Lead capital plans and asset management initiatives, including working with owners to maintain or improve the property’s market position.
Responsible Business
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, colleagues, and hotel assets.
- Act as a public relations representative to raise awareness of the hotel and brand in the local community.
- Drive team member involvement in community organizations, activities, and businesses.
- Develop and implement action plans to be environmentally conscious by reducing the hotel’s carbon footprint.
- Perform other duties as assigned; may serve as manager on duty.
Key Skills & Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Hotel Administration / Business Administration.
- Five to ten years’ prior hotel management experience in a Holiday Inn or similar internationally branded hotel, or equivalent education and experience.
- Experience in hotel openings.
- Fluent in English; other languages preferred.
- Living or willing to live in the area.
