Kalyon Solar Technologies Production Inc. was established by Kalyon Holding with the vision of contributing to the growing energy needs of Turkey and the world — primarily through clean and renewable sources — for generations to come.
Founded in 2017 and commencing production on August 19, 2020, our factory is a pioneer in the solar energy sector. It is the first and only facility in Europe and the world to integrate every stage of solar panel production — including R&D — under one roof.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and co-ordinate the development and implementation of the company HSE strategy & program.
- Recommend HSE objectives considering Corporate objectives.
- Monitor and communicate on performance to improve decision making regarding HSE and to integrate HSE into business decisions.
- Ensure adherence to all company principles, policies and requirements related to HSE,
- Ensure compliance with HSE-related legal requirements.
- Develop and sustain a local network (including authorities, other factories, etc).
- Implement, control, maintain and improve the HSE Management systems including achieving and maintaining ISO 9001, ISO14001and ISO 45001 certification.
- Provide coaching & support to the factory management team and Line Managers in order to achieve the company’s HSE objectives and to ensure HSE becomes / remains a line management responsibility.
- Ensure that HSE performance data is available and correctly managed.
- Promote the awareness of HSE.
- Champion the HSE risk assessment program, including assessment, incident investigation, corrective action and auditing, as well as ensuring a focus on BBS and culture.
- Develop and execute process safety studies and follow up on action items.
- Lead emergency management, business continuity, and sustanability processes.
- Drive major sustainability reporting initiatives like decarbonization, water stewardship, and zero waste, etc
- Coach and mentor the HSE team, monitoring performance and ensuring professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- At least a B Class Safety Specialist Certificate (A Class preferred).
- 10+ year HSE management experience in manufacturing industry
- Passionate about their people, consumers, products and community and display a caring attitude.
- Totally committed to keeping our people safe and to protecting the environment.
- Have a strong work ethic, self starter, integrity, total honesty and total quality.
- Have proven Leadership Skills
- Excelent communication skills in English.
