What awaits you in this role?

We are looking for a passionate Head – Strategic Planning who will join our team at the Strategy Directorate team in Beko Corporate. As a core member of Beko’s Strategy Team, the Head of Strategic Planning will play a key role in influencing the company’s global strategic direction. This role is designed for high-performing, forward-thinking professionals who thrive in dynamic environments and are motivated to deliver meaningful impact. From leading long-term strategic planning to supporting business development and selective M&A projects, the role works closely with senior leadership and global teams across markets and functions. It offers strong exposure to Beko’s Executive Committee and Koç Holding leadership, providing the opportunity to contribute to decisions that shape the future of one of Türkiye’s most iconic global brands.

• Lead the development and refinement of Beko’s long-term strategic roadmap across 50+ global countries, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall vision and priorities.
• Identify and assess business development opportunities, including new market entries, strategic partnerships, and other growth initiatives.
• Support selected M&A and inorganic growth projects, from early-stage evaluation through execution and integration planning.
• Prepare strategic analyses, presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership, contributing to decision-making at the Executive Committee and Koç Holding levels.
• Manage cross-functional strategic initiatives, coordinating across business units and regions to support consistent execution and shared objectives.
• Support the development of team members through coaching and guidance, helping build capabilities and maintain a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

The position is located in İstanbul/Türkiye.

How we describe the perfect fit?

• 10+ years of experience in strategy, M&A, corporate development, or top-tier consulting/investment roles
• Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives in complex, global organizations
• Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to synthesize insights into actionable strategies
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including fluency in English
• A collaborative leader who inspires trust, drives clarity, maintains focus and delivers results in dynamic settings
• Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university
• Outstanding cross-functional partnership skills, with a confirmed ability to identify, initiate and lead efforts with both internal and external teams
• Effective communicator with experience communicating at the boardroom level
• Ownership mindset, equally comfortable operating at the micro and macro levels with the innate ability to know which level is needed at what time as well as appropriate sense of urgency
• Experienced team leader, lead team through change management skills, including advocating, anticipating and orchestrating change. Able to foster a team culture that enables staff to achieve results in a changing environment
• A great team player with a self-initiative mindset
• Strong operational mindset with ability to prioritize projects and demands
• Able to work in a challenging environment, fast, multitask, persistent and resilient
• Flexible and open to new perspectives and diversity
• Being open to communication
