Job description

What's the Role?

The purpose of this role is to lead and develop the Project Management Office (PMO), which is part of the Large Project Organization. The role involves driving the PMO's capability to effectively execute projects at the Market Organization (MO) or sub-region level.

What does the role involve?
  • Developing short-term and long-term PMO strategies, including resource and infrastructure investment requirements.
  • Supporting Market Organizations (MO) and sub-region sales & business development teams during project acquisition by providing engineering services.
  • Executing defined Integrated Project Solution (IPS) projects collaboratively with other units such as sales, MO departments, the Corporate PMO team, Business Units (BUs), global and regional logistics organizations, and other competence centers.
  • Developing the PMO organization and its team members to achieve high competency in relevant areas.
What you need is
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 6 to 10 years of experience in engineering design, with 3 to 5 years in engineering management.
  • Broad technical knowledge across multiple domains, focusing on Structural Engineering.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple complex projects.
  • Experience in performance management, team development, and succession planning.
  • Strong communication skills with cross-functional and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in implementing and optimizing engineering workflows.
  • Understanding of Building Information Management (BIM).
  • Proficiency in MS Office software (Excel, MS Project, Word, PowerPoint); basic skills in Autodesk software (AutoCAD, Revit) are a plus; knowledge of Plant Design and BIM tools (SP3D, E3D, Revit).
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
