Job summary

Harrison School District 2 is seeking a grant budgeting analyst to support financial planning and analysis for district grant funding. You will monitor grants, prepare monthly reports, and assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to improve student outcomes and ensure compliance with General Ledger procedures.

Responsibilities include developing grant budgets, preparing executive-quality reports, maintaining budgets, and providing guidance to schools and departments on grant issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or accounting or equivalent certifications.
• Two years of related experience with basic financial analyses and modeling.
• Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing District grant and general fund financial plans.
• Assist with the development of grant reports designed for leadership and schools with grant budget data.
• Organize facts and data used to develop the grant budget projections and maintain files.
• Maintain the Grant District budget throughout the fiscal year by updating budget line items and transferring funds.
• Prepare grant exception reports with analysis and recommendations.
• Monitor grant position management activity and budget sources.
• Review school/department grant budgets and facilitate solutions; track spending and forecast.
• Provide excellent customer service through a strategic financial relationship with site-level grant budget owners.
• Perform other related duties and special analysis projects.
