Job summary

Tekton Engineering in Türkiye is establishing a new engineering team in Eskişehir to support a growing pipeline of construction work from Australia and to deliver engineering services to Australian clients.

We are seeking a motivated Graduate or Junior Civil/Structural Engineer to join our team in Eskişehir, focusing on practical precast structural design, lifting, handling and temporary bracing for concrete elements, with training and international exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Recent graduate or with relevant engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of statics and mechanics of materials.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and basic structural software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering projects for the Australian construction industry.
• Design lifting and handling arrangements for precast concrete elements.
• Design temporary bracing systems for precast wall panels.
• Carry out structural calculations and engineering checks.
• Review architectural, structural and precast shop drawings.

Job description

Tekton Engineering is establishing a new engineering team in Türkiye to support a healthy and growing pipeline of construction work from Australia and provide engineering services to Australian clients.

We are looking for a motivated Graduate or Junior Civil/Structural Engineer to join our team in Eskişehir.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or junior engineer who wants to develop practical structural engineering skills while working on real construction projects across Australia.

The role will focus on the design of lifting, handling and temporary bracing systems for precast concrete elements. You will work closely with experienced engineers and receive training and ongoing technical support. Previous experience in precast concrete design is not required.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with engineering projects for the Australian construction industry
• Designing lifting and handling arrangements for precast concrete elements
• Designing temporary bracing systems for precast wall panels
• Carrying out structural calculations and engineering checks
• Reviewing architectural, structural and precast shop drawings
• Working with engineers and drafting teams to develop practical construction solutions
• Learning and applying relevant Australian engineering standards and industry requirements
• Supporting the team with project coordination and design revisions

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has completed a bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Is a recent graduate or has relevant engineering experience
• Has a good understanding of first-principles engineering, particularly statics and mechanics of materials
• Can understand load paths, calculate reactions and assess forces, stresses and structural behaviour
• Is able to use AutoCAD confidently
• Is interested in structural design and precast concrete construction
• Is confident with engineering calculations and technical problem-solving
• Has excellent attention to detail and a willingness to learn
• Can communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a team
• Has a good command of written and spoken English
• Is comfortable using engineering software and Microsoft Office

As the role involves working on Australian projects, communicating with international colleagues and reviewing technical documentation in English, strong English communication skills are essential.

The interview will be conducted in English.

Experience with structural analysis software or reinforced concrete design would be beneficial, but it is not essential. Training in precast lifting and temporary bracing design will be provided.
