A Government & Diplomatic Relations Sales Manager supports government sales by developing sales action plans and strategies to meet targets, under the guidance of the Sales Director, working closely with hotel operations to deliver Hilton’s commitment to outstanding customer service.

What will I be doing?

As a Government & Diplomatic Relations Sales Manager, your responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing local market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
  • Focusing on sales and ensuring smooth operation
  • Developing customer accounts and traveling within the local area to drive business into the hotel/cluster, increasing market and customer share across revenue streams
  • Negotiating room rates and packages with government clients
  • Collaborating with operational departments
  • Attending local networking events, such as national day receptions or exhibitions related to government institutions
  • Monitoring media for political and economic developments, city events, and new projects to identify business opportunities
  • Producing accurate and timely reports for the Sales Director and senior management, including appointments, calls, and leads
  • Promptly and professionally responding to customer queries
