Job summary

Rapsodo, Inc. is seeking a Back-End Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based applications using Go. You will work with cross-functional teams to build reliable backend services and APIs on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and to optimize PostgreSQL databases within a microservices architecture.

The role emphasizes clean, testable code, collaboration, and adoption of emerging technologies to improve backend architecture and performance across global sporting analytics products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience in backend development with Go.
• Experience building cloud-based applications, preferably with GCP.
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and database design.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, event-driven systems, and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based backend applications using Go.
• Build scalable RESTful APIs and event-driven services using microservices architecture.
• Develop and maintain backend services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following software development best practices.
