Job summary

Modern Chevrolet Cadillac of Burlington is seeking a skilled B or B+ level Automotive Technician to join the service team. You will perform routine maintenance, inspections, and mechanical repairs, using GM service information and diagnostic tools to diagnose and fix concerns.

Responsibilities include diagnosing drivability, electrical issues, and completing repairs to GM specifications while maintaining a clean, safe work area and communicating with service advisors.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional automotive repair.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle systems.
• GM experience is preferred but not required for all applicants.

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and mechanical repairs.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle concerns using proper diagnostic procedures and equipment.
• Perform brake, suspension, steering, electrical, and engine repairs.
• Diagnose drivability and electrical concerns.
• Complete repairs efficiently and accurately according to manufacturer specifications.
• Utilize GM service information, diagnostic equipment, and repair procedures.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and other service team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Continue developing your technical skills through training and hands-on experience.

What We're Looking For

• B or B+ Level Automotive Technician
• Previous professional automotive repair experience.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to accurately diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle systems.
• GM experience is preferred, but experienced technicians from other brands are encouraged to apply.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• GM certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Dependable, motivated, and committed to quality work.
• Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
