Job summary

CoreX Holding is seeking a Sancitons Assistant Manager at our Maslak, Istanbul HQ. You will serve as the internal expert on international sanctions regimes, AML frameworks, and related regulatory requirements.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in compliance, and strong communication. English fluency and familiarity with screening databases are essential; professional certifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
5+ years in corporate/compliance, sanctions, or risk management.
Strong knowledge of global sanctions regimes (OFAC, EU, UN, UK, Switzerland).
Experience with screening databases (World-Check, LexisNexis, Dow Jones) and regulatory standards (FATF).
Experience in policy and procedure development.
Excellent analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in English; strong communication and teamwork.
Certifications (CAMS, CGSS, ICA, CFE) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Serve as the internal subject matter expert on international sanctions regimes and AML frameworks.
Design and update real-time compliance policies and controls.
Execute end-to-end due diligence for vendors, partners, and clients including sanctions checks.
Maintain AML/CTF/ABC risk control frameworks.
Oversee KYC and KYS processes; perform EDD on high-risk counterparties.
Monitor unusual or suspicious activity and report to leadership and regulators.
Conduct compliance risk assessments and report on risk exposure.
Deliver sanctions and compliance training to employees and run awareness programs.
Collaborate cross-functionally to support wider compliance initiatives.
