We are the People & Culture Team, the enablers of people and protectors of culture. We hire, train, and retain. As People Business Partners, we are the gatekeepers of Insider, focusing on finding A-players and leveraging strong people skills to support People & Culture processes across 5 continents & 27+ regions. Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and assistance to Insider’s related HQ Business departments and certain regions on a broad range of human resources processes;
- Act as a thought partner to department leaders to improve people-related issues including engagement, productivity and performance, learning and development, hiring, retention, recognition, and communication;
- Take a significant role in building and implementing new People and Culture strategies aligned with departmental and organizational OKRs;
- Foster “one team” culture by working closely with all Center of Excellence functions (People Operations, Recruitment, Learning & Development, HR Analytics, Internal Communication, and Employer Branding) to cultivate candidate and Insider experience;
- Conduct 30-60-90 day interviews with newcomers, assess engagement proactively, and address disengagement issues early;
- Support People & Culture Manager with NPS actions;
- Be a strategic consultant by offering insights to recruitment teams, and managing the full-cycle recruiting process;
- Source, engage, and nurture relationships with culture-fit top talents to empower Insider team;
- Actively contribute to employer branding activities to share Insider’s story with potential team members.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in an HR role, or at least 3 years as an HR Business Partner in non-tech divisions;
- Experience in People and Culture practices, including recruitment, talent management, and learning & development; working knowledge of immigration laws and processes is a plus;
- Exceptional teamwork and the ability to establish strong relationships at all levels and across functions;
- Ability and desire to take leadership responsibility;
- A strategic mindset to develop action plans and bring new perspectives;
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written;
- Prior experience in high-growth and fast-paced environments (startup or technology experience is a big plus);
- Skills to manage recruiters and researchers to meet hiring goals and screen candidates;
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks with strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
