Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Türk A.Ş. in Aksaray seeks an experienced leader to manage the Order Center and Customer Center operations for the Plant Aksaray.

You will coordinate cross-functional activities with Sales Istanbul, Global Order Center, Production and Quality to balance customer needs with production capacity. • Minimum 3 years in an E4 leadership role with relevant degree.
• Experience in Truck Sales, Production, Quality Management or similar functions.
• Very high product, process and system knowledge.
• Experienced in Project Management with presenting to senior management.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in English and/or German.
• Residency in Aksaray is required.

Responsibilities

• Order Center Management of Plant Aksaray and coordination with Sales Istanbul.
• Manage domestic and export vehicle orders and coordinate changes.
• Coordinate and manage retrofitting projects and content changes.
• Support product management for domestic market in Istanbul including configuration packages.
• Collaborate with Global Program Center, Production, QM, Sales Istanbul and EU Market Responsibles.

As a member of the Plant Management, you will act as strategic interface between Mercedes-Benz Sales & Marketing and Aksaray Operations, driving cross-functional alignment to balance customer needs, production capacity, and business objectives.

What you can expect

Order Center Management of Plant Aksaray

• Supporting Sales Program Planning Activities for Plant Aksaray in alignment with GOC Wörth
• Order Management for export and domestic vehicles within the Plant Aksaray: Follow-up of orders for inland and export vehicles and control of customer changes
• Management of domestic market orders in the AFAB system in coordination with Sales Istanbul
• Buildability Check of the orders according to production timeline (incl. BBA, CTT)
• Launch Steering and Start-up management of the product projects in the Aksaray Plant and detailed vehicle planning for try-outs and SOPs (Product, Baumuster, Code)
• Time/Termin-Management (Prioritization, Quality Campaigns) activities for export vehicles with the coordination of AST teams in Global Order Center Wörth and domestic vehicles with coordination of Sales Istanbul
• Coordination and Management of Retrofitting: Carrying out all product/content change projects that have been/are being carried out on finished/produced products at Aksaray Plant in line with customer requests
• Supporting the product management team for the domestic market in Istanbul, including update activities for the series vehicles and configuration packages (S-AEF) of the product range.
• Very close collaboration with Global Program Center, Production, QM, Sales İstanbul and EU Market Responsibles

Customer Center Management of Plant Aksaray

• Management of customer center activities (domestic) in coordination with sales in Istanbul
• Realizing vehicle hand-over activities for the domestic market
• Managing customer relations and contacts
• Provision of all vehicle documents (CoC papers, low-noise and ADR documents, etc.)
• Supporting Event Management activities with Marketing Communication Team
• Close collaboration with Dealer Sales Managers in line with customer requests
• VIP & Public Vehicle Deliveries/Ceremonies
• Support of Test Events
• Increase of customer experience and customer communication
• Management and supervision of the whole sales yard (vehicle waiting times, maintenance activities, vehicle readiness, etc.)
• Managing preparation of export & domestic vehicles in Sales Yard Aksaray
• Realizing PDI activities of vehicles and reporting detected nonconformities to Quality Department
• Coordination of Service Campaigns in cooperation with Quality and Production Departments
• Ensuring and following vehicle blockages in the sales yard in line with Quality Department requirements
• Supporting inventory activities for vehicles in the sales yard

Technical Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an E4 leadership role is required, together with Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration and Administrative Sciences or comparable qualification
• Experience in Truck Sales, Production, Quality Management or similar functions
• Very high product, process and system knowledge
• Experienced in Project Management with presenting to senior management
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in English and/or German
• Residency in Aksaray is required
